Young golfers from around the county converged at Marysville Golf Club to take part in the Union County Junior Golf Academy-Tour match. Travis Brake took the top spot in the boy’s Tour 18-hole category scoring a course par of 72. Followed by Zach Riegel with a 125 and Ryan Beckhoff with a 144 to finish out the boy’s tour.
The Lady’s Tour Division saw stiffer competition with Mackenzie Collett taking the top spot with a 96. Gabby Vamos and Mary Weisburn split second place with 100 a piece. Haley Kirby stroked a 104. Emily Williams and Lydia Cunningham each tallied 124 and Caitlin Johnson scored a 136.
In the girls 9-hole Tour Cassady VanDyke tallied a 48, while Olivia Ishmael scored a 52.
In the 9-hole Academy Division Grady Wisecup, Miles Young and Madden Ungerer each tallied a 45 to split the top spot. Colin Staats and Mason Rausch each shot a 46 on the day. Jackson Burns tallied a 47. Nate Russell ended his day with a 51. Edie Finn scored a 53. Dalton Smith shot a 54. Caden Larrluz tallied a 55. Jason Everly completed the course in 61 strokes. Reese Cordonnier scored a 68. Sara Beckhoff ended with a 69 and Jorja Ary rounded out the field with a 78.
The UCJGAT will wrap up their season at Darby Creek Golf Course on Thursday.
