Marysville’s boys lacrosse squad slipped to 3-4 for the season on Thursday with a 10-4 loss to Gahanna.
The Monarchs kept pace with the Lions before losing momentum in the second and third periods.
They picked up the action during the fourth quarter, but several late turnovers prevented them from taking the lead.
Mike Gingras went 62 percent and Matt Chalmers was 40 percent on faces for the night.
MHS had a total of 31 shots on the net, but could only come up with a quartet of goals.
Luke Peterson tallied two, while Jack Peterson and Hunter Wilson each added one.
Nate Golden tallied nine saves.
MHS will play at Kettering Fairmont on Saturday.
