Triad’s varsity volleyball squad (1-18) was swept by Mechanicsburg by scores of 12-25, 17-25, 11-25 on Tuesday.
Lady Cardinal stats for the match were as follows:
-Kelsey Cole: nine attacks, six digs;
-Holly Alvoid: seven points, three blocks, two assists;
-Kendell Hughes: 11 attacks, three kills, five digs, five points;
-Gracie Sheets: 23 passes, two points;
-Jordyn Unger: seven points, two aces, five attacks, four assists;
-Sidney Louck: eight attacks, eight points;
-Bailey Perry: two attacks, four digs, three points;
-Emma Dorn: five digs, four kills, four points.
The Cardinals will play at West Liberty-Salem on Thursday in their final regular season conference match.
Bunsold teams split
The Bunsold Middle School seventh-grade Blue spikers lost to Olentangy Shanahan 7-25, 15-25.
The Lady Monarchs finished the season with a 16-4 record and a runner-up spot in the tournament.
Courtney Parrish led the team with four kills, while Danika Doren and Eliana Borjas each tallied nine digs.
Carli Stratton tallied four assists and Bella Hackett finished with six digs.
Bunsold’s Red volleyball team beat Patriot Prep 25-14, 25-13.
Kennedy Yurkovich tallied 14 ace serves and Ava Kempton added five.
The Lady Monarchs concluded their season with a 12-4 record.
