North Union’s volleyball squad won two of three matches during Saturday’s Lima Bath Invitational.
NU opened the tourney with a 19-25, 25-16, 25-21 victory over Toledo Christian.
The Lady Cats dropped their second match to St. Henry by scores of 14-25, 12-25.
The Lady Cats combined for 10 total kills during the loss with Lissie Michael collecting three of them.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Lady Cats tallied 24 digs, with Michael again leading the team with seven.
The Lady Cats faced off against Northwood to finish out their tournament.
They won by scores of 25-13, 25-12.
NU notched 30 kills as Journey Blevins led with 12.
Michael tallied eight, while Jordyn Hoffman collected six.
The tag team of Blevins and Michael combined for 21 digs out of the team total of 43.
Josie Duncan tallied 22 assists during the win. She is now only eight away from 1,000.
The Lady Cats will return to the court Tuesday when they host Urbana.

The Bunsold Middle School volleyball teams were successful on Saturday.
The seventh-grade spikers beat Worthington Kilbourne and Jonathan Alder during a tri-match.
Caitlyn Reigel finished with 16 aces as the Lady Monarchs downed Kilbourne 25-22, 19-25, 25-14.
Elley Channell served 13 aces and Abby Stinemetz finished with 10 kills during Bunsold’s 25-21, 15-25, 25-17 triumph over JA.
The eighth-grade squad swept Kilbourne 25-14, 25-11.
Bella Fox had eight digs, while Rylee Dundon had five kills and five blocks.
Alivia Codner and Natalie McNicholas each had eight digs.
Morgan Shick and Sophie Little each tallied six kills.
