Marysville’s girls golf team shot a 406 to place fifth during an Ohio Capital Conference match at Royal American on Tuesday.
Upper Arlington ran away from the pack with a 299, followed by Dublin Coffman-324, Hilliard Davidson-369, Canal Winchester-384, Marysville-406 and New Albany-408.
Katie Bischoff led the Lady Monarchs with a 91, followed by Maddie Powers-97, Faith Engle-108, Olivia Ishmael-110 and Olivia Virts-115.
JVs split
MHS’ jayvee boys downed Olentangy, 183-211.
Corey McNicholas and Gavin Cossette each tallied a 45, followed by Cole Weaver-46 and Aiden Prohaska-47.
Marysville’s JV girls lost to Pickerington North, 226-256.
Lydia Cunningham led the Jr. Monarchs with a 55, followed by Rylee Cavins-63, Kelsey Dye-66, Madi Wildermuth-72 and Haley Kirby-72.
Triad teams fall
The Lady Cardinals lost a triangular match to Greenon and Mechanicsburg.
Greenon won the match with a 229, Mechanicsburg finished with a 234 and Triad shot a 245.
The Lady Cardinals were led by Lexi Moore with a 53, followed by Anna Nott-55, Ashley Cave-68, Olivia Butz-69 and Shelby Sheets-70.
Triad’s boys lost to Mechanicsburg, 197-204.
Jacob Miller and Creighton Bradley topped the Cardinals with matching scores of 50. Devin Butz and Jacob Greve each carded a 52.
