JoJo Eberhart tallied a pair of goals on Wednesday as Marysville’s girls soccer team opened the Division I tournament with a victory.
The 13th seeded Lady Monarchs rolled to a 4-0 victory on their home turf over No. 33 Licking Heights.
Single goals came from Olivia Brooks and Madi Sherrick.
Brielle Young finished the contest with three saves in the net for Marysville.
“It was great to see some younger players step in without skipping a beat,” said Lady Monarch coach Nathan Andrews. “They filled in some spots in our lineup due to injuries.”
MHS (6-7-4) will host No. 19 Hilliard Darby, 7 p.m., on Saturday.
