The Lady Monarch varsity volleyball team dropped a 15-25, 23-25, 15-25 verdict to Dublin Coffman on Tuesday.
“The girls continue to believe in the process and we battled against Dublin Coffman,” said coach Bethany Bentz. “This special team never gives up and walks onto the court each outing ready to play for each other and the name on their jerseys.”
Kaitlyn DeLauter led the Monarchs with six of the team’s 13 kills.
Morgan Shick tallied 12 of MHS’ 26 digs.
“This team is truly proud to be Monarchs and the wins will come,” said Bentz as Marysville slipped to 5-8. “They believe in the challenge we have set forth of getting better each time we take the floor, focusing on our own selves no matter who is on the other side of the net.”
