The Marysville girls basketball team closed out the regular season on Friday with a 51-43 win over Upper Arlington.
The Lady Golden Bears came out of the first quarter with the upper hand and a 15-12 lead.
The Lady Monarchs were able to find the bottom of the net for 15 points to take a 27-24 lead into the turn.
The Lady Monarchs matched Upper Arlington point-for-point in the third quarter going 11-11 to maintain their three-point lead of 38-35.
Marysville sealed its victory with 13 points in the final stanza, while the Lady Bears could only muster eight points.
Marysville finished the regular season with a 10-11 record and a 6-4 record in the Ohio Capital Conference Central Division.
Marysville will open its post season on Saturday, Feb. 15 at Delaware Hayes.
The tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
