The Marysville Lady Monarch golf team captured the title of champion at the Union-Madison County Tournament on Tuesday.
MHS carded a team score of 173 at Locust Hills Golf Course to take top honors.
Fairbanks was the runner-up with a team score of 184.
Jonathan Alder finished in third with a score of 194 and the Lady Cats of North Union placed fourth at 206.
Madison Plains shot a 264.
Cassi Van Dyke of Marysville was the match medalist with a personal-best score of 37.
Avery Prohaska finished with a 42. Olivia Ishmael scored a 46 and Kelly White turned in a 48 for the Monarchs.
Van Dyke, Prohaska and White finished with personal-best scores.
Ishmael won closest to the pin honors.
Katlyn Saunders was the Lady Cats’ top scorer, tallying a 48.
Emma Saunders shot her way to a 52.
Cami Craft and Kendra Nicol each turned in a 53.
Lilly Taylor finished with a 54 and Hemmi Mullins rounded out the Lady Cats with a 64.
None of the other individual scores were available at presstime for Fairbanks or Jonathan Alder.
