The Fairbanks Lady Panther golf squad won its fifth consecutive Ohio Heritage Conference tournament championship on Tuesday.
The event was held at Windy Knoll Golf Club near Springfield.
The Lady Panthers claimed the title by shooting an 18-hole round of 375.
Scoring for FHS were Mary Weisburn-85, Veronique Grand-85, Gabby Vamos-89, Janie Clayton-116, Cassidy Jones-117 and Alice-Ruff-255.
Southeastern was the runner-up with a score of 428, followed by Mechanicsburg-455, Greenon-516, Triad-530 and Madison Plains-567.
Northeastern and Greeneview did not finish with four scores.
No individual scores for Triad were reported.
MHS girls move up
Marysville’s girls golfers moved up to fourth place in the Ohio Capital Conference standings.
The Lady Monarchs shot a 372 during the match that was held at Royal American Links.
New Albany claimed top honors with a 297, followed by Dublin Coffman-341 and Canal Winchester-344.
Upper Arlington finished behind Marysville with a 367 and Hilliard Davidson carded a 434.
Avery Prohaska led the Lady Monarchs with an 87 and Cassie VanDyke carded an 89.
Emily Williams shot a 92 and Allee Forrider turned in a 94, which was her best score of the season.
Panther boys win
Fairbanks’ boys linksmen are now 15-0 in Ohio Heritage Conference matches.
The Panthers beat Greenon, 167-179.
Alex Crowe leads FHS with a 37.5 average, followed by Cole Eger (38.7) and Chase Brackenridge (39.3).
Cardinals fall
Triad’s boys dropped a 181-205 decision to Greeneview.
Adam Mroczkowski led the Cardinals with a 46.
Caleb Hostetler carded a 50 for Triad.
He was followed by Braydan Hoffman-51 and Evan Ziegler-58.
