Jonathan Alder’s girls bowling team won the Division I sectional tournament with a three-game score of 2556.
A total of 16 teams qualified for next Monday’s district tournament that will be held at HP Lanes in Columbus.
Marysville’s girls bowling team qualified for the district with a 14th-place sectional finish.
MHS rolled a team score of 2848.
Danielle Phipps of JA was the top individual bowler. She rolled games of 195, 211 and 192 for a 598 series.
Other Lady Pioneer bowlers and their results were as follows:
-Kadie Walter: 185-149-177 (511 series-tied for 14th);
-Lana Kirts: 179-149-181 (509 series-16th);
-Satavia Kempton: 156-150-176 (482 series-25th);
-Shea Huntington: 140-0-160 (300 series-151st).
Marysville’s individual games were as follows:
-Madison Strouse: 215, 200, 158 (573 series-seventh);
-Alyssa Beeching: 190, 164, 157 (511 series-tied for 14th);
-Grace Evans: 153, 101, 118 (372 series-95th);
-Sarah Stooksbury: 98, 143, 82 (323 series-135th);
-Hailey Lowe: 104, 106, 111 (321 series-138th).
