Fairbanks’ girls cross-country team placed fourth during Saturday’s Ohio Heritage Conference meet.
The event was held at Cedarville.
West Liberty-Salem won the meet with 15 points, followed by Cedarville-64, Mechanicburg-101, Fairbanks-108, Northeastern-136, Greenon-162 and Madison Plains-163.
Amelia Cameron and Rachael Hoover of FHS respectively placed seventh and eighth in the race.
Their times were 20:12.5 and 20:31.2.
They each earned first-team conference accolades for their efforts.
Also placing for the Lady Panthers were Lindsey Eddy, 23rd, 24:11.2, Lily Dellinger, 31st, 25:52.1; Annika Parks, 30th, 31:17.6; and Alondra Bosworth, 41st, 33:52.2.
Triad did not have enough runners to field a girls team.
Shalyn Smiles of Triad was ninth in 20:44.8.
Tabitha Gaier was 41st in 25:37.0 and Allandra Yorgason was 44th in 25:58.8.
Cedarville won the boys meet with 26 points.
West Liberty-Salem was the runner-up with 29, followed by Mechanicsburg-89, Greenon-131, Triad-153, Greeneview-153, Fairbanks-178 and Madison Plains-213.
