Marysville’s girls golf team shot a season-best score of 357 on Saturday.
In doing so, the Lady Monarchs placed seventh in their 12-team invitational at Darby Creek.
Cassi Van Dyke led MHS with an 84.
She was followed by Avery Prohaska-88, Emily Williams-92, Reese Cordonier-93, Allee Forrider-95 and Camryn McGlenn-104.
The Lady Panthers of Faribanks placed 10th.
Fairbanks’ individual scores were Mary Weisburn-76, Gabby Vamos-87, Veronique Grand-91, Mary Jones-112, Janie Clayton-113 and Alice Ruff-150.
Dublin Coffman won the team title with a 316, followed by Olentangy Liberty-323, Olentangy-334, Grove City-343, Canal Winchester-343, Pickerington North-354, MHS-357, Delaware Hayes-361,Gahanna-363, Fairbanks-366, Olentangy Berlin-411 and Hilliard Davidson-421.
The Lady Monarchs will play Fairbanks on Thursday.
Prior to that, the Fairbanks team will compete at Locust Hills for the annual Union-Madison County Invitational.
The first shot of that event will go off at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
