Marysville’s boys lacrosse squad concluded its regular season schedule with a 15-8 home loss to Hilliard Bradley.
With its last home matchup of the regular season, the Monarchs paid tribute to seniors Julian Kennedy, Xander Angelas, Ben Durey, Cole Clarridge, Jamey Best, Deklin Shannon and Logan Fitch.
Fitch and Durey tied for the most scores by Marysville, tallying two goals each in regulation.
Other scorers from Saturday night included Grady Evans, Hunter Sheldon, Best and Ben Alessi.
Recording assists on the night were Durey (two), Alessi and Lincoln Engle.
Inside the cage, Sean McGee collected 13 saves on 32 shots. Subbing in, Maddox Barker recorded 10 saves on 17 shots.
The junior varsity played against Gahanna Lincoln again for the second time in two days.
The Jr. Monarchs notched a 10-6 win.
Nic Cavinee was the most prolific scorer notching four goals on the day.
He was followed up by Garrett McHenry and Malachi Anderson who scored both tallied two.
Other goals came from Landon Wimmers and Brycen Luellenman.
Cavinee recorded the only assist in the contest for Marysville.
Inside the cage, Saxton Bond recorded six saves on 16 shots.
The Monarchs ended the regular season with a 5-12 overall record and a 1-6 mark in the Ohio Capital Conference Cardinal Division.
