“Tonight’s match against Hilliard Darby had a different feel to it as we wrestled our dual on two separate mats -106-145 on one mat and 152-285 on the other,” said MHS head coach Shawn Andrews. “It was hard to keep track of team scores and momentum being on two different mats, but our guys responded well.”
The Monarchs will host Olentangy Liberty and perennial state power Brecksville during a triangular event on Saturday.
Action will begin at 11 a.m. with MHS competing against Brecksville.
That will be followed by the Liberty-Brecksville match and then bouts between Marysville and the Liberty Patriots.
