JT Hiltscher of Marysville captured first-place honors in three sprint events Saturday.
Hiltscher won the Ohio Capital Conference Cardinal Division championships in the boys 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes.

“The race felt pretty good,” said Hiltscher after his 100 meter dash victory. “There was a little tail wind… after I caught it, everything went pretty smoothly.”
“JT’s ‘triple crown’ of winning the 100, 200 and 400 was a big accomplishment,” said Monarch head coach Luke Sundermeier. “He worked hard to achieve it.”
The Monarch boys notched another first-place finish by Zac Galvis.
He finished the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.72.
“I got out of my blocks pretty well,” said Galvis following his triumph in the event. “I got over the hurdles well.
