Marysville’s boys bowling team defeated Westerville Central, 2232-2218, on Tuesday.
The Monarchs fell behind early, but managed to trail by just 15 pins going into the final baker game.
Marysville worked together as a team and pulled through for the win.
The victory upped MHS’ record to 4-0.
Johnathon Cusack had both the high game of 278 and the high series of 465.
Other notables were Zack Tompkins bowling a 206, Ethan Moeller with a 200 and Xavier Mead with a 188.
The Lady Monarchs dropped a 2085-1656 verdict to Westerville Central.
Madison Strouse bowled both the high game of 218 and the high series of 385.
Grace Evans bowled her personal best of 152.

Panthers fall
Fairbanks’ boys dropped a 2368-2278 decision to Northeastern.
JD Welch rolled games of 224 and 167 for a team-high 391 series.
Other Panther results were Anthony Nichols, 170-188-358; Braxton Wilhelm, 175-131-306; Grant Hamm, 151-144-295; and Drew Lafon, a one-game score of 120.
