Marysville’s varsity boys golfers dropped a 149-170 verdict against Olentangy Orange on Monday.
Caden Fulkerson led the Monarchs with a 41, followed by Gavin Cossette-42, Johnathon Cusack-43, Wes McHenry-44, Alden Prohaska-45 and Justin DeHoff-48.
JVs triumph
The Monarch jayvee boys defeated Worthington Kilbourne, 188-200.
Nick Wever carded a 45 to set the tone for the Jr. Monarchs.
He was followed by Dylan DeLauter-47, Ty Shaw-48 and Danny Norris-48.
Cardinals win
Triad’s boys defeated West Liberty, 185-218.
The Cardinals’ Cole Pond was the match medalist as he turned in a score of 41.
He was followed in Triad’s lineup by Ryan Gross-47, Devin Butz-47, Payton Oyer-50 and Maison Johnson-50.
FHS wins title
The Fairbanks boys golf team shot a 305 and won the Ridgedale Invitational on Saturday.
The event was held at The Golf Club of Bucyrus.
Alex Crowe led the Panthers with a 72, followed by Andrew Crowe-76, Travis Brake-78, Seth Payne-79 and Logan Bocsy-89.
Bunsold girls compete
The Bunsold Middle School girls came in third during their tri-match with Olentany Hyatts (203) and Olentangy Liberty (218) by shooting a team score of 241.
Reese Cordonnier shot a season-low of 49, while Ava Jackson carded a season-best of 59 to lead the Lady Monarchs.
