MHS boys tennis squad places fourth during doubles tourney


Marysville’s boys tennis team placed fourth out of eight teams during Saturday’s Reynoldsburg doubles invitational.
The MHS fourth doubles team of Connor Kennedy and Sameer Parashar took championship honors in its bracket.
Payton Ice and Jack Nuspl placed second in the third doubles bracket.
Devin Kyle and Alexander Seiltz finished fifth at second doubles.
The first doubles team of Joel Sheeley and Sam Balderson finished seventh.
Watkins Memorial won the overall team championship with 26 points, followed by Delaware Hayes-21, Granville-20, MHS-18, Reynoldsburg-13, DeSales-nine, Mt. Vernon-eight and Marietta-0.
MHS will play at Dublin Coffman on Tuesday.
