MHS gymnasts place second during quad

The Lady Monarch gymnastics team opened the season on Wednesday with a second-place finish during a quad match.
Worthington Kilbourne claimed top honors with a score of 135.15.
MHS was the runner-up with 129.70.
Olentangy Orange tallied a team score of 129.35 and Westerville Central finished with a 116.40.
Marysville placed as follows:
-Vault: Mary Calvert, second, 8.3; Grace McKillen, seventh, 8-1
-Bars: Katelyn Rabe, third, 8.3; Calvert, fifth, 8.25; McKillen, seventh, 7.9; Jackie Rychlik, 10th, 7.65
-Balance beam: Calvert, second, 8.9
-Floor exercise: Calvert, first, 8.9
-All-Around: Calvert, first, 34.35
