Marysville’s girls varsity lacrosse squad had a difficult time against Upper Arlington on Tuesday.
The Lady Golden Bears got the scoring started early and went on to defeat the Lady Monarchs by a 20-1 count.
Upper Arlington kept MHS goalies Madi Cantrell and Emma Swart busy with 28 shots on goal.
Cantrell managed seven saves during her half of action in the net.
Swart came up with one rejection over 25 minutes.
The Golden Bears’ defense proved to be stifling, as Marysville managed only three shots at the goal.
The lone Lady Monarch score came from Gabby Hill.
Sophie Ballou and Riley Kuehn each tallied a hat trick plus one (four goals) to lead Upper Arlington.
The Lady Monarchs will return to action when they host Gahanna on Thursday.
