The Marysville boys swim team found success in a quad meet against Bellefontaine, Fairbanks and North Union on Tuesday.
The Monarchs won with 101 points. Bellefontaine tallied 48 points for second place.
Fairbanks and North Union did not have enough swimmers to tally team points.
No FHS or NU details were available.
The Monarch swimmers tallied nine first-place finishes out of the 11 events. Those first place finishes were as follows:
-200 yard medley relay, 1:51, Aron Moledor, Hank Luther, Ethan Turk and Shane Hothem;
-200 yard freestyle, 2:10, Joey Hazelbaker;
-200 yard individual medley, 2:18, Moledor;
-50 yard freestyle, 24.45, Turk;
-100 yard butterfly, 1:03, Turk;
-100 yard freestyle, 53.82, Luther;
-500 yard freestyle, 5:41, Moledor;
-200 yard freestyle relay, 1:41, Turk, Hothem, Moledor and Luther;
-100 yard backstroke, 59.71, Luther.
The Lady Monarch swimmers shared the top spot of the meet with Bellefontaine, each earning 77 points.
Marysville took first place in five of the 11 events. Those first-place finishes were as follows:
-200 yard medley relay, 2:03, Mikayla Seman, Molly Gregory, Morgan Grawe and Diana Jimenez;
-200 yard individual medley, 2:24, Gregory;
-100 yard butterfly, 1:05, Grawe;
-500 yard freestyle, 5:59, Seman;
-200 yard freestyle relay, no time reported, Gregory, Jimenez, Seman and Grawe.
