Monarch bowlers have mixed results


Marysville High School’s girls bowling team dropped a pair of recent matches.
The Lady Monarchs fell to Olentangy Orange, 1510-1379.
Madison Strouse rolled the high game (172) and high series (317).
Other notables were Alyssa Beeching with a 261 series and Grace Evans with a series of 191.
MHS fell to Big Walnut, 1813-1548.
Strouse bowled both the high game (221) and high series (406).
Emily Myers rolled a single-game score of 148, while Annika Stadie bowled her highest score (138) to date.
The MHS boys downed Big Walnut, 2151-2075.
Dale Barker rolled both the high game (219) and high series of 433.
Other notables were Johnathon Cusack, who bowled a 213 game, and Ethan Moeller with a 207 game.
The JV boys won their match against the Eagles (no score was available).
Austin Lewis rolled a 235 and Coy Nickelson bowled a 231.
The Monarch varsity boys dropped a 2125-2106 verdict to Olentangy Orange.
Josh Geer bowled the high game of 202, while Barker tallied the high series of 379.
