The Marysville High School cross-country teams are busy preparing for the upcoming post-season.
As such, most of the varsity runners did not compete at Thomas Worthington’s Les Eisenhart Invitational on Saturday.
“We did have some runners compete in the open races,” said MHS coach Luke Sundermeier. “They battled hot temperatures and lots of great competition.”
Monarch results were as follows:
-Girls 11-12 grade open: Ellie Nichols, 77th, 25:54;
-Boys 11-12 grade open: Gary Markin, 36th, 19:21;
Girls 9-10 grade open: Lauren Sloboda, 164th, 31.55;
Boys 9-10 grade open: Sean Shultz, 23rd, 19:07; Lane Coil, 35th, 19:35.
Marysville’s varsity teams will compete at the Ohio Capital Conference meet on Saturday at Hilliard Davidson.
