The Monarch boys tennis squad suffered a setback on its home court Wednesday when Thomas Worthington scored a 4-1 verdict.
Marysville’s lone victory came during the second doubles contest.
The team of Payton Ice and Jack Nuspl defeated Eaton and Smith by a 6-2, 6-2 count.
MHS dropped all three of the singles matches.
Britz defeated Joel Sheeley 6-0, 6-0; Newberry downed Sam Balderson 6-0, 6-0 and Briones topped Sameer Parshar 6-1, 6-3.
Jackman and Zeller of Worthington claimed victory during the first singles match. They beat Devin Kyle and Alexander Seiltz 6-2, 6-1.
The Monarchs (5-9) are scheduled to host Hilliard Darby today.
