The Lady Monarch volleyball squad responded in a big way from its loss on Thursday.
“We played with composure,” said MHS coach Bethany Bentz.
The Lady Monarchs beat No. 8 (in the district) Pickerington Central 25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 25-22, on Saturday.
“We executed our game plan with precision and steadiness,” said Bentz.
As told by the score, the Lady Monarchs and Pickerington Central split points throughout the match.
“We did a great job taking advantage of Central’s errors and the momentum shifts,” said Bentz.
Morgan Shick led MHS with 25 digs, followed by Ella Morris-eight and Alivia Codner-nine.
Rylee Dundon and Carys Gossett combined for 26 kills.
Morris and Katie Palmer combined for 40 assists.
The Lady Monarchs will host Dublin Coffman this evening.
