The Wildcats of North Union celebrated their final regular-season wrestling match with recent victories over visiting schools Jonathan Alder, 53-21, and Elgin, 63-9.
The Pioneers claimed second place at the meet with a 63-6 triumph over the Comets.
The Wildcats claimed their victory over the Pioneers with wins at 120, 126, 132, 170, 182 and 220.
Tarren Riffle, 120, gave the Cats an early lead with a pin in 1:33 over Zachary Yates and Hayden Pacha followed up at 126 with a pin in 58 seconds over Landon Carsey. Austin Jamison at 132 was able to add six teams with a pin in 1:03 over Owen Crabtree.
Skyler Cowgill of North Union topped Lucas Stalnaker of Jon Alder, 9-4.
Chris Cox-Wilson claimed a 9-3 decision over Josh Kaeser at 182 and Dylan Thompson pinned Michael Boggs in 1:14 at 220.
The remaining wrestlers performed as follows:

-113, Gabe Hansen of North Union wins by forfeit;
-138, Caleb Isler of North Union won by forfeit;
-152, Nick Finke of Jon Alder won by a 11-9 decision over Malachi Robbins of North Union;
-160, Braiden Leisure pinned Alec O’Reilly of North Union;
-195, Kane Beltz won by forfeit;
-285, Zack Mallard won by forfeit.
The Wildcats completed their sweep on the night with a victory over the Comets.
Isler notched a 9-3 decision at 138, while O’Reilly tallied a pin in 1:40 at 160.
Cox-Wilson also won by pin fall in 57 seconds at 182 pounds. Thompson tallied his second pin of the night in 1:17 at 220.
The remaining Wildcats finished as follows:
-103 Clark won by forfeit;
-113 Riffle won by forfeit;
-120 Pacha won by forfeit;
-126 Jamison won by forfeit;
-145 Jed Buckingham won by forfeit;
-152 Robbins fell by pin fall;

The Wildcats and Pioneers will return to the mat on Saturday at the Central Buckeye Conference tournament.
The event will be held at Bellefontaine.
