North Union got off to a good start on Saturday during a Central Buckeye Conference volleyball match at Springfield Shawnee.
NU won the first two sets.
Shawnee (2-5), however, rallied with three straight victories to earn an 18-25, 19-25, 25-21, 26-24, 15-2 triumph.
Sienna Ballinger, Hope Hall and Zoe Wedding each had eight kills for the Lady Cats (0-4).
Candace Holloway was 25-of-28 serving with eight aces and Hall was 20-of-22 with two aces.
Holloway notched 18 assists and Zoe Wedding led in digs with 20, while Kayla Sedgwick and Kiley Pederson had 19 and 15 respectively.
Ballinger totaled three blocks.
North Union won the junior varsity match 28-26, 25-17.
