Fairbanks’ varsity baseball squad swept a doubleheader from Greeneview on Saturday.
The Panthers won the games by matching scores of 9-0.
Jaeden Eickhoff was the winning pitcher during the opener.
He scattered a pair of hits, struck out eight and did not walk a batter.
Eickhoff helped himself at the plate with three hits and an RBI.
Alex Blumenschein had a pair of hits and drove in a run.
Mason Cushman, Braxton Wilhelm, Hayden Hoover and Connor Pack each had one hit.
Cushman drove in a pair of runs.

Weston Lorenz yielded five hits and fanned four to win the nightcap. He did not walk a batter.
Blumenschein and Pack both tallied two hits. Blumenschein drove in two runs.
Alex Jones knocked in a pair of runs, while Eickhoff and Lorenz each had an RBI.

Lady Cardinals drop game
Parkway plated a run in the bottom half of the second inning on Saturday.
That was all the home team needed to beat Triad’s softball squad, 1-0.
Holly Alvoid tallied three of the Lady Cardinals’ five hits.
Joni Russell was tagged with the loss, despite allowing just two hits.
Triad (11-9) will travel to Greenville today.
