Golfers from Fairbanks High School won their age brackets during the third tournament of the season for the Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association.
The event was played Wednesday at Marysville Golf Club.
Justin Brackenridge shot a 35 on the front nine and a 40 on the back to finish with a 75.
That score allowed him to win the 16-18 division.
Brackenridge finished the tournament with 10 pars and a trio of birdies on the par 72 course.
He finished three strokes ahead of Mt. Gilead’s Hayes Bentley.
Logan Bocsy carded a 77 to win the 13-15 division. He topped Galion’s Spencer Keller by a couple of strokes.
Brackenridge and Bocsy were two of eight local linksmen to compete in the tournament.
Fairbanks’ Seth Payne, (86), Emily Wilson (88) and Aidan Wilson (95) competed in the older division.
Alexander Crowe of Fairbanks was fifth in the 13-15 bracket with an 88.
Andrew Crowe of Fairbanks carded a 99 in the younger division, while Johnathon Cusack of Marysville finished with a 101.
The Heart of Ohio golfers will return to competition on Tuesday with a tournament at Pine Lakes in Mt. Gilead.
