There wasn’t a good deal of movement in the Pigskin Pickers after last week’s games.
Publisher Kevin Behrens, sports writer Sam Dillon, reporter Mac Cordell and sports editor Tim Miller all posted 8-3 records for the week.
The Cincinnati Bengals’ comeback from a 17-point deficit to beat the Miami Dolphins hurt managing editor Chad Williamson and reporter Will Channell.
They both picked the Dolphins and went 7-4 for the week.
Behrens still holds the season lead at 57-17, followed by Dillon (56-18), Cordell (55-19), Miller (54-20), Williamson (53-21) and Channell (48-26).
This week’s guess Pickers are Dean Cook, Dave Laslow and Bob Van Hoose.

Disclaimers:
Williamson: “This is the year Marysville gets a win against one of the big three (Coffman, Davidson, UA) in its league. I don’t like my Georgia pick and am probably going to kick myself come Monday. I think Michigan may turn its game into a romp if Wisconsin can’t establish a passing game.”
Miller: “There are some really tough, toss-up type of games this week. Marysville-Upper Arlington, Georgia-LSU and Michigan-Wisconsin come to mind. I’m not confident with any of my picks in those games.”
Cordell: “Well I thought we had settled into the part of the season when picks get easier for a bit. I was clearly wrong. That said, this has been a really enjoyable and exciting football season so far from the local high schools, to good college matchups, even the Browns are exciting!”
Behrens: “This could be moving week. The slate of games is going to be close, so Jim Dandy Dillon has been crowing about taking the lead. He has been plotting and planning on how many games different he needs to be in order to take over first. Let’s see if his kamikaze technique works out or if he becomes a falling knife, too.”
Dillon: “Please Picker gods, don’t let me down. I have to do something to shake it up in the office. I’m tired of being in second and listening to Behrens crow about being first.”
Channell: “I’d say good luck to the local teams, but I’m picking against a good number of them this week, so sorry I guess.”
Cook: “Good luck to all of the local teams and Go Bucks!”
Laslow: Good luck to all of the local teams and Go Bucks!”
Van Hoose: “Good luck to all of the local teams and Go Bucks!”
