Runners compete in All Ohio Balloon Fest race

Former Marysville High School track and cross-country standout Alec Sandusky, far right, leads the pack at the start of Friday evening’s All Ohio Balloon Fest 5K run at Jim Simmons Trail in Mill Valley Central. Approximately 120 runners competed in the race that was shortened to three miles due to the heat. Sandusky was the overall winner.

Approximately 120 runners competed on Friday evening when the All Ohio Balloon Fest 5K was held.
The race, which was shortened to three miles due to the heat, was completed on the Jim Simmons Trail at Mill Valley Central.
Former Marysville High School track and cross-country standout Alec Sandusky was the overall winner. His time was 13:34.1.
