Spikers place first


The Hot Shots 14 American volleyball team finished first among 16 teams during a recent 14U Ohio Valley Region (OVR) tournament at the Dayton Sports Complex.  Hot Shots defeated Xplosion Volleyball Club and Dayton Juniors-14 Gold in pool play and lost to the Bullets-Black. The team’s first gold tournament game was a 29-27, 25-13 victory over the Dayton Juniors-14 White.  The semifinal match was a 25-23, 25-18 verdict over the Columbus Volleyball Academy-Pickerington. Hot Shots claimed the gold title with a 25-15, 25-12 win over Roundtown Volleyball.
