Triad’s boys hoopsters finally got the winless monkey off their backs on Friday.
Ayden Spriggs scored 19 points, while Jalen Nott and Batai Lease respectively added 15 and 14 during the Cardinals’ 66-36 victory over Southeastern. Ayden Sanford joined them in double figures with 10.
Triad (1-7 overall and 1-6 in the Ohio Heritage Conference) led 11-9 after the opening set and took a 24-17 halftime spread.
Nott tallied seven of his points during the third quarter.
As a result, the Cardinals (who will play at Cedarville on Tuesday) coasted into the fourth period with a commanding 47-22 lead.
