North Union and Fairbanks peformed well during Saturday’s NU cross-country invitational in Richwood.
The Lady Cats placed third with 99 points, while Fairbanks’ girls were fourth with 113.
North Union’s boys were fourth with 113 points.
Fairbanks did not have enough runners for a boys team score.
Buckeye Valley won the eight-team girls meet with 37 points.
Bellefontaine took top honors in the 11-team boys race with 48.
North Union’s Ashley Hayward led the Lady Cats with a 13th place finish in a time of 21:48.
Teammate Kendal Music took the 14th position in the 76-runner race with a time of 22:08.
The Fairbanks running duo of Rachael Hoover and Amelia Cameron paced each other for the majority of the race.
They respectively finished in the fourth and fifth spots.
Hoover completed the tour of the 3.1-mile course in a time of 20:00, while Cameron finished in 20:04.
The remaining local girls finished as follows:
-Kaylle Smith, North Union, 23rd, 22:55;
-Lindsey Eddy, Fairbanks, 29th, 23:20;
-Ashlee Kohler, North Union, 31st, 23:23;
-Madelyne Liebler, North Union, 37th, 24:18;
-Chloe Hall, North Union, 47th, 25:21;
-Lily Demeter, Fairbanks, 53rd, 26:16;
-Annika Parks, Fairbanks, 68th, 29:01;
-Alondra Bosworth, Fairbanks, 73rd, 31:47.
Jacob Willis led the North Union boys with a fifth-place overall finish with a time of 17:26.
Casey Clark and Daniel Burggraf took the 15th and 19th positions respectively in the 115-runner race.
Clark finished in a time of 18:12 and Burggraf was only few seconds behind with a clocking of 18:23.

-Parker Brandt, North Union, 49th, 20:00.84;

-Nicholas Powell, Fairbanks, 99th, 23:42;
-Jake Predmore, Fairbanks, 111th, 26:50.
North Union and Fairbanks, will compete in their next races during the Saxbe Invitational at Mechanicsburg High School on Saturday.
