Frog legs
When I was a kid, my dad usually went frog hunting once or twice every summer. He would go at night, armed only with a flashlight and a frog gig, which was a trident-like lance. He would walk along the creek with the flashlight at the water’s edge. When he spotted a frog he would lance it and deposit it in a net bag.
