Communities honor America’s birthday

The Independence Day parades in the area were well attended on Saturday despite high temperatures and humidity. Above, a parade-goer recreates the famous scene of George Washington crossing the Delaware River during Plain City’s July 4 parade Saturday morning. In this version, Washington did so with a cool drink. Below, a girl in the Marysville parade unleashes a batch of bubbles on her friend.
