Cops and Cars show held

Plain City residents and visitors attended the village’s inaugural Cops and Cars car show on Main Street Saturday afternoon. More than 100 vehicles signed up to participate in the event, which also featured vehicles from other local agencies such as the Ohio State Highway Patrol, London Ohio Division of Police and the Union and Madison county sheriff’s offices. Participants were rewarded with 25 custom-designed trophies, including ones for Best of Show and Top 10 categories. All the money raised will go to the Jonathan Alder Athletic Boosters. Officials said they plan to bring this event back each year for an annual tradition.
