Unavailable.

These are goodies to help us stay warm.

Dreamsicle pie
1-1/2 C heavy whipping cream
2 TBS confectioners powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 C water
1 3-oz. pkg. orange jello mix
2 6-oz. containers orange flavored yogurt
1 9-in. graham cracker crust
Pour heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract into a large bowl.
Whisk using a large balloon whisk for approximately 5 minutes, until cream reaches stiff peaks.
Place water in a large microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 1 minute, or until it’s just beginning to boil. Immediately whisk in orange jello mix, stirring until dissolved. Stir in orange yogurt. Fold in whipped cream until well mixed. Pour into graham cracker pie crust. Freeze for 1 hour, or until set. Top with additional whipped cream and orange sprinkles for serving, if desired.
___
Men’s bars
14-oz box graham crackers, crushed into crumbs
1 12-oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 C finely chopped walnuts or pecans
2 14-oz. cans sweetened condensed milk
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
2-3 C powdered sugar
Combine graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, nuts, condensed milk, vanilla and salt in a large bowl, and mix until well combined to make a batter. Batter will be thick.
Line a 3-quart 13×9 baking pan (or 2 8×8 square pans) with parchment paper (or aluminum foil greased well) then spread batter into pan(s). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until set. Cool completely in pan, remove then cut into squares. Add powdered sugar to a medium bowl then add squares to sugar and toss to coat. Store in an air-tight container.
___
Reeses krispies
4 C Rice Krispies cereal
1 C light corn syrup
1 C granulated sugar
1-1/4 C creamy peanut butter
5 regular-sized Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
1/2 C milk chocolate chips
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside and place your Rice Krispies in a large mixing bowl. In a large microwave safe bowl, combine corn syrup, sugar, and peanut butter and cook on high heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until mixture is evenly combined.
Pour peanut butter mixture over Rice Krispies and mix. Now mix in chocolate chips. After a couple minutes, mix in crushed Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups to avoid them fully melting. Spoon treats out with a ice cream scoop and onto a lined baking pan and let cool. Then using your hand or a spatula, slightly flatten them so they look more like a thick cookie instead of a ball.

She said, “As a fold my third load of laundry, I contemplate becoming a nudist. Then I remember what I look like as a nudist, and continue folding.”
