The streets of Uptown Marysville were packed with activity Friday night as the city began its two-day bicentennial celebration. Above, McGuffey Lane plays on stage as residents kick back in lawn chairs on Main Street. At left, Bill Miller, red shirt, and Zach Monnin, green shirt, ride ziplines over Fifth Street. Along with the ziplines, the Uptown area was filled with food vendors, a car show, stations for local businesses and other activities to commemorate the city’s 200th birthday. The festivities continue today with more activities, including a fire truck pull, and live music beginning at noon and culminating with national country act Runaway June.
