The winner of the Avalon Theatre’s 2021 T-shirt design contest was recently named. The Avalon Theatre’s board of directors picked three finalists in August from the submissions of area residents of all ages. The board then opened the contest to community members to select a winner, Bunsold Middle School student Will Nuspl, son of Matt and Wendy Nuspl of Marysville. He received a prize package from the Union County Chamber of Commerce, which collaborated on the contest. “The Avalon T-shirts will be part of our annual membership package to launch in the first quarter of 2021,” Executive Director Sarah Barr said. “We will have them on our website, and hope to have them in a few local Uptown shops too.” Pictured above during the prize package donation are, from left, Barr, Mallory Leiter, Union County Chamber of Commerce, Nuspl, and Katie Alexander, Avalon Program and Events Committee Volunteer. The Avalon Theatre is a non-profit 501 c 3 charitable organization, with a mission to bring quality arts activities to the Union County community that will entertain, educate, and enrich the lives of all ages.
