The entrance to Marysville’s City Hall has a new look. City Manager Terry Emery said the new foyer and reception area offers additional security for both city employees and residents, while maintaining an open and personal feel. He said the renovation, which cost about $225,000, was planned before the COVID-19 pandemic, which has only heightened the need for city staff to be able to communicate with residents securely. Much of the project was completed while City Hall was closed and staff members were working remotely, reducing the impact of the construction.
