Union County was under a Level 1 Snow Emergency Monday night as about 3 inches of snow fell in the area. The county was fortunate, however, to have avoided the 6 inches of snow that fell just to the west in the Bellefontaine area. The Snow Emergency for Union County was canceled at 10:15 a.m. today. Above, after spending some time this morning looking for a scraper, Camden Eidson gave up and used a credit card to clear snow and ice from his windshield on East Fourth Street. Below, a tiny snowman keeps a lookout near the Moo Moo Car Wash off Delaware Avenue.
