A Hyundai Sonata narrowly avoided crashing into a Toyota RAV4 on U.S. 36 at around 9:20 a.m. today, but lost its bumper in the process. Both the RAV4 and the Sonata were traveling toward Marysville on U.S. 36 when the RAV4 slowed to turn onto Myers Road. Not wanting to strike the turning car, the Sonata swerved out of the way and into a ditch, then ran over large rocks and came to rest on the side of the road. The Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted at the scene. More information will be available in a future edition of the Journal-Tribune.
