Logan Wells will highlight “A Tribute to Patsy Cline” on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Marysville High School Auditorium as part of the Union County Community Concerts Association concert series.
The performance will feature many of Cline’s most popular songs interspersed with telling the story of her humble beginnings in Winchester, Virgina. Attendees will hear songs Cline sang at the Grand Ol’ Opry, such as “Crazy,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Always.” Organizers hope crowd members will be able close their eyes and think Patsy Cline herself is singing.
Wells has been headlined at the Las Vegas Hilton and has produced her own songs with a Nashville Record Label. She has made numerous TV appearances and has played on more than 800 radio stations nationwide.
She has been invited by the White House staff to perform for George W. Laura Bush in Westlake and Cleveland. She also performed for McCain/Palin in Cleveland in 2008.
She has a relaxed and engaging stage presence and creates a fast friendship with her audiences. The music world indicates that she has all the ingredients of an emerging recording industry’s new superstar. More information may be found at savoca.prod@aol.com. Or at www.loganwells.com.
