Officials at the Ohio Reformatory for Women held a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday for the new Marguerite Reilley Mental Health Outpatient Treatment Mall and Residential Treatment Unit. Governor Mike DeWine, at center, and Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Director Annette Chambers-Smith, at right, are pictured listening to ORW Social Work Supervisor Tara Nickle give a tour of a residential treatment unit within the building. The new facility replaces the current mental health building, which was built in 1949, and will serve as an all-in-one center with outpatient, day treatment and inpatient services combined under one roof, said ORW Warden Teri Baldauf. DeWine said the opening of the facility furthers his goal to “develop a mental health system in the state that is available to everyone, no matter where they live.”
