Route 736 was closed this morning following a single vehicle crash. According to reports, at about 5:28 a.m., Jonj S. Sin, 53, of Marysville, was driving a 2011 Honda CRV, south on Route 736. According to the report, Sin said she was not paying attention and failed to make the curve just north of the road’s intersection with U.S. 42. Sin’s vehicle went off the right side of the road and hit a utility pole, breaking it. Officials said there were no injuries as a result of the crash. Sin was charged with failure to control. Officials said alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash. Ohio Department of Transportation officials closed Route 736, between Hickory Ridge Road and U.S. 42, while Ohio Edison worked to repair the pole and power lines
