Marysville High School has found an opponent to take the place of Upper Arlington on the boys basketball schedule.
The Monarchs were originally slated to host the Golden Bears on Tuesday of this week.
That game, however, was called off as MHS had to reschedule the Ohio Capital Conference Cardinal Division game against Thomas Worthington.
The Thomas Worthington contest was postponed from last Friday due to inclement weather.
Marysville won’t play Upper Arlington due to the fact there were no compatible dates for both teams.
The Monarchs, instead, will host state-ranked Canal Winchester Harvest Prep on Thursday.
The junior varsity game will tip off at 6 p.m., followed by varsity action.
“Harvest Prep was the only school to answer our call for a game,” said Marysville High School athletic director Joey Day.
Harvest Prep (13-3) is ranked sixth in this week’s Division III state poll by the Associated Press.
