The 2018 golf season came to an end for Marysville’s girls and boys teams on Tuesday.
Marysville’s girls shot a 395 during the Division I sectional at Westchester Golf Course in Canal Winchester.
New Albany won the tournament with a 302, followed by Olentangy Liberty-327, Pickerington North-345, Bishop Watterson-366, Granville-367, Teays Valley-368, Bishop Hartley-381, Canal Winchester-386, Westerville Central-393, MHS-395 and Lancaster-446.
Dublin Coffman won the boys D-I sectional at Darby Creek with a score of 300.
The Shamrocks were followed by St. Charles-302, Westerville Central-311, Upper Arlington-315, Hilliard Bradley-318, Worthington Kilbourne-319, Grove City-330, Big Walnut-333, Westerville North-335, Buckeye Valley–336, Hilliard Darby-336, Marysville-353 and Whetstone-411.
There were no MHS golfers who advanced to the district as individuals.
Chris Borjas of Marysville carded a 77 during the boys match. He missed earning a playoff spot by one stroke.
Other Monarch scores were Sameer Parashar-91, Gavin Cossette-91 and Tyler Smith-94.
No individual scores were available for the Lady Monarchs.
