Above, the large amount of snow this morning, measured at 6 inches in some locations, delayed the plans of the Rohr family, but they made the best of it. The family said this is the first snowman they’ve built since moving from Texas to their Stallion Way house nearly two years ago. All local schools were closed and Union County Sheriff Jamie Patton issued a Level 2 Snow Emergency for Union County. Patton said that only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be on the roads.
